ACC U10 played Ajax U10 on 5th June 2010. It was a perfect day for cricket with the sun shining and parents cheering the boys. Ajax U10 started off cautiously and began to score heavily in the middle overs. The sun was shining brightly and it was getting warmer and warmer. A couple of Moms bought in some extra caps and handed them to the kids.  In the meantime, coach Michael, who was also umpiring, was motivating the kids when Ajax U10 began their onslaught. They bowled well, fielded well and took some good catches and finally restricted Ajax U10 to 96. 

After the drinks break and a pep talk from their coach, Michael, the boys were all set to take on Ajax U10. Raffi and Krishnan opened the batting and put on  a decent score losing just 1 wkt. The runs starting flowing once the BIG HITTERS came in to bat. BIG 6s and 4s were hit and ACC U10 sensed that their first WIN of the season was now within reach. The batting was great to watch with some great strokes played on either side of the field. In the end, ACC U10 scored 195 runs at a run rate of almost 9.7 runs per over.

ACC U10 WON by a whopping 105 RUNS. It was a BIG WIN which will be remembered for a longtime by the boys as well as their parents!!!
