The final ACC3 match of the season will be played today at VVV ground, starting 12:00. If we win this one, the championship is ours. So, when you're done with the shopping, kids football, awake or any other obligatory duties, do come over and support us!

Well, where shall I start...ok..it was a beautiful sunny and warm day, great for cricket. Not so good for the guys who were fasting. Especially knowing we were going to have a very tough match a head of us.
Which it sure was.

At the moment, ACC3 is still on top of the table but with only one point difference from our competition, United 2.
This Sunday's home match will be an up-or-out match. If we lose the match, then it's end of story.
If we win, we'll only have one last hurdle to overcome and the championship is ours!

Last Sundays match was again a real nailbiter and played in an excellent atmosphere. It was good to see that the 1st team players also came over to watch our match.
They enjoyed the match against Kikkers, which we won in the last over. And now this one, which we tied also, in the last over. We just have the habit to either win easily or just sneak home. In the end, we just play the way we do to please the crowd.

Days before this match, I was planning to postpone it  due to the very bad weather forecast.
As a cricketer in the Netherlands, I'm just glad if it stays dry so having the sun out is a huge bonus. We didn't postpone and went on our way to Hilversum.
Looking at the ground, we were pleasantly surprised because they'd shortened the boundary in such a way, that a faint edge to a spinner, could go for six.

Unlike most of my reports, this report will be short, just like the match we played Sunday against Baarn 1.
The match lasted in total 28 overs, in which 80 runs were scored, 14 wickets fell (6xbowled, 8xcaught), 1x6, highest score was a 30 and Mr. Extra's 16.
Last but not least, only one team had a huge smile on their face.

When I woke up last Sunday, I didn't imagine that the match would be as exciting and long-lasting as it was.
To stay in the race for the championship, the last few matches left are very important. In other words, we can't loose any.

After last weeks match, we were bound to make this right against R&W, whom we had defeated before.
So everyone was almost on time. Two of our teammembers have sworn never to come on time so the day they will be on time, it will worry me..Due to misscommunication apparently, we were supposed to start at 13:00....That memo didn't reach me so considering that, everyone was on time.

It was raining when I woke up and by the time I arrived at United, the sky was clearing up.
Regarding motivation nowadays and in my time (sound old). The motivation to play cricket was always there, rain snow ice, nothing mattered.
