Catches do win matches quicker! (ACC 4)

Let me start with ACC4 winning their second match again in good fashion against Olympia 2 away in Gouda.
Contrary to fielding first mentality, we were send in to bat. Which proved to be good as we all were a bit late, missing a few exits and a bit puzzled when the Navi led us to a big parkingspace. Walking by a swimmingpool, in this weather, our minds did wander off a bit. But as soon as we saw that beautiful cut ground, with those stumps ready, must say, nothing beats the game of cricket.
Regarding our performance today, we had our highs (Zeddy 43 & Atif Khan 42 (new ACC4 joiner) but we also had our lows (Guy and yours truly both two beautiful ducks).
It happens but if you have a solid and dedicated team as ACC4, even with those ducks, we still produced a total of 193.
A few mentions for Amir's impressive 29 and Atif Khan's highly contributed 42, both batting first time in a club league. The latter first time batting in Holland.
Also a good contribution of Denise Hannema, our guest of the day, who contributed in the partnership with Zeddy as openingsbat.
In the final stages of our innings the batting with Omar & Teja clicked and they nicely contributed with their 12 & 6 Not Out.
Nice to see that we can actually bat out the 40 overs.
After having a nicely prepared lunch, we started fielding. Specific target from the Captain: it's hot, get them all out under a 100 and as soon as possible because it's hot.
Luckily, the criteria's were met mainly due to the many bowling options available and the good support from the fielders.
In the previous match against Bloemendaal we missed catches and they batted until the 35th over. This time we did the opposite: 5 catches were held and only 1 missed in the slips.
The catches meant that the match ended within the 22nd over.
Had some cold drinks afterwards and headed back to ACC for even more drinks.
The wickets were shared in the following manner:
A.Malik 5-0-18-2
G. Pathak 4-1-8-3
I. Sheikh 4-0-20-2
A. Khan 1.4-0-2-3
Team, nothing much to add, excellent contribution by all of you and let's keep this up!
