Two weeks before against R&W, we experienced our first batting collapse yet hung in and scored the required runs. Last week against Qui Vive, we batted first and experienced another batting collapse but we bowled exceptionally well and ran through their line-up with a fine piece of pace bowling.
Third time unlucky is (batting wise) probably the best phrase to sum-up things. Comparing yesterday’s overall performance with our previous six matches, we didn’t get enough things right and got what we deserved by not winning.
Scoring a low total of 139, it was always going to be a real difficult task to defend especially, if only three bowlers are completely fit.
The bowlers bowled excellent given the low total and did the best they could but it’s just a simple fact that we should have scored much higher, around 200 at least.

We will do better next time.
