The sitting duck tour

| ACC4 went on tour to Sussex again this year. With uncanny foresight we named the trip the sitting duck tour and it was with three superb losses that we returned though memories were somewhat tainted by all the lovely moments had and in fact if it wasnt for someone miraculously retrieving the scorebook we would have believed we did nothing but gloriously and heroically win. Of course a tour is about playing on great grounds such as the Ringmer village green above, sitting in dainty scoringbooths, and discovering the little hero within. All this was done in the company of our sitting duck mascot who could not be held down (as in you cant hold a good duck down) and even when traveling in Brians cricketbag managed to enjoy himself thouroughly. |
