The title is a reflection of an outstanding team effort throughout the season, with Bobby and Nagesh providing excellent leadership and setting the standard for the squad. From the experienced players to the younger members of the team, everyone has contributed across batting, bowling and fielding. ACC 5 produced another strong all-round performance against Biljmer CC 2, restricting the hosts to just 94 all out in 32.2 overs before chasing down the target in only 15.2 overs. A disciplined bowling display, backed by excellent catching, set up the victory, with ACC’s batters then completing a comfortable eight-wicket win.

After Biljmer elected to bat, Matthew and Pradeep shared the new ball and immediately applied pressure. Both bowled disciplined opening spells, making it difficult for the Biljmer batters to settle.

Matthew continued his strong all-round form, claiming 1 wicket for 14 runs from 6 overs, while Pradeep bowled a controlled 8-over spell, conceding just 29 runs.

Ayaan also contributed with a disciplined and lethal spell (4 overs, 7 runs and 2 wickets) as ACC kept the pressure on throughout the innings. Basir Hakimi was the standout bowler, claiming 3 wickets for 25 runs from 6.2 overs and getting himself on a hat-trick during his spell.

The wickets were backed up by excellent fielding. Hamza took a superb catch off Basir’s bowling, while Suresh also held an important catch.

Saurabh added a wicket with an economical spell of 1 for 14 from 7 overs, while Kuldeep took 1 wicket for just 5 runs from his single over, with Saurabh taking a brilliant catch off his bowling.

With wickets falling regularly, Biljmer were eventually bowled out for 94, leaving ACC with a straightforward target.

ACC’s chase got off to a positive start with Suresh setting the tempo with an excellent 32 off 26 balls, including six boundaries.

Saurabh added 6 before being dismissed, after which Hamza played a quick unbeaten 24 off just 15 balls, including three fours and a six.

At the other end, Daniyal remained composed and unbeaten on 21 off 36 balls, providing the perfect support as ACC moved steadily towards the target.

ACC reached 95/2 in just 15.2 overs, completing a convincing eight-wicket victory.
