Zaterdag 10 mei
ACC1 174 – Dosti 179/6
ACC Zami 1 – Royal Punjab cancelled
VRA 2 199 – ACC Zami 2 202/3
While the Netherlands clashed with Scotland on VRA Field 1, the real action was brewing on Field 3! 💥
ACC Zami 2 took on VRA Zami 2 and, afterwinning the toss, ACC chose to field first. Jan Balk and last game's hat-trick hero Michael Dukker opened the bowling attack with intensity, supported by
Jaljit Singh, reducing VRA to 52/6 early on.
But a gritty 78-run partnership between FTKate and Thomas Spits swung the momentum, helping VRA post a competitive total of 199.
ACC chased with calm confidence—thanks to asolid start from Wim Pielage (51) and a match-winning knock of 78 from Sean Ellocott, who anchored and accelerated beautifully to seal the win 👏. ACC stuck to basics, built partnerships and enjoyed the chase thoroughly in Zami style.
Post-match, both teams enjoyed some great social time — joined by a few Dutch national team players—at the iconic VRA clubhouse. 🏏🇳🇱
