You can do it !

T20: ACC1 beats Kampong in Utrecht in controlled fashion
[by the editor / MvO] A short report as an example of scorebook journalism. Absent, written anyway. Luckily brightened up with a series of action photos taken by Duco Ohm. By the way, where would we be without those 'oldies' from ACC? How many years ago has it been that someone from ACC1 wrote a report of a Top class- or T20 competition? Nice exercise to do once, wouldn't you think? May be in English (Google Translate is eager for you ;-) .. And pictures, also fine. A crazy one? Even better. That way you also become a real cricket writer ;-). If you can do it on WhatsApp or Facebook or on other social media, why not here? Come on, be brave, you can do it!
ACC lost in the group of the T20 competition at home to Topklasser VRA, but did not have too many problems with the bigclassers Groen and Wit (on 't Loopveld) and now Kampong.
Kampong won the coin toss in Utrecht and went batting. Almost everyone made something, but nobody made it to 20. The total was stuck at 87 runs. Jhala had 19 as batsman number 7 (ct Van Vliet, bowled Arya). Former ACC all-rounder Malik got no further than 3rd as number 4, bowled by Kothari. Raza finished with the best bowling figures, 3/12/4, but Napoleon was little behind with 3/13/3. Two went to Kothari and 1 to the already mentioned Arya and to Potdar. The last bowling Martin took the number 11 on his first ball (ct Mulready). There were also traps for Napoleon, Knoll and the reported Van Vliet.

Five wickets fell before the total of the Utrecht team had passed and the 88 runs were placed on the scoreboard. Just like the day after against Dosti, a reborn Chris Knoll was the top scorer with 37 runs (5x4, 1x6). Ramesh (13) and Kothari (10) also got the double digits (and Potdar still 9 no). The old fox Malik showed himself as a bowler (number 4) and came off the field 3/16/4.
